Bridal session at a historic Spanish mission
At the age of 30, I found a passion to travel and pair my photography skills. That is when my destination wedding portfolio came to life. I absolutely LOVE destination work, and when the opportunity arrises and a client wants to hop on a plane…I run with it. Francesca wanted a location for her bridal session that was epic, yet historic and romantic. She wanted her bridal portraits to have an editorial look. I had the perfect place in mind.
Working with brides is my passion. Editorial work and doing styled shoots are fun and allow for all the perfect details, timing and vendor collaborations. While I love the perfection they bring, I also enjoy photographing real brides and using that same sense of style and design in their sessions. It’s what 99% of my portfolio consists of. This entire session was shot mainly on film. I absolutely love the rich textures! Francesca’s Tara Keely lace plunge gown was A-MAZING for this. Being a Dallas wedding photographer, I’m lucky to photograph weddings and portrait sessions, such as this, in places so unique.
